What to do
if your friend is raped
1. Don't ask questions, just listen.
2.
Believe your friends.
3.Help your friend get medical attention for any of the
following: injuries, possible pregnancy, possible STD's and for evidence.

Help your friend if she wants to report the rape.
5. Help your friend get a
professional counselor.
What to do in a possible rape
situation
1. Trust intuition.
2. Stay calm.
3. Respond
immediately, say NO strongly.
4. Assess situation- Is it safe to escape? What
are your resources?
Then, if it is safe you can: fight back physically, make
a scene (faint, lie, intimidate).
What to do if you are
raped
1. Go to a friend.
2. Go to a hospital.
3. Think about
saving evidence.
4. Perhaps report the rape to police.
5. Perhaps press
charges.
6. Get counseling help.
